Ol Seki Hemingway’s Mara Camp is location in the eastern part at a permanent site on the Koiyaki Group Ranch, north of Mara Game Reserve. Ol Seki is set in the eastern part of the Koiyaki conservation area, an area populated with Maasai, but also home to good game, particularly when the Loita Wildebeest migration comes in from the North East.
Between June and July the Aitong plains to the North and West team with migrating wildebeest and Zebra and, of course, numerous predators. For the rest of the year, resident game is ever present, although not in such large numbers as in the Mara National Reserve.

There's so much to discover - the big five reside here alongside myriad wildlife indigenous to East Africa. As well as the wild birds and beasts and plants, you might like to meet the local Maasai herdsmen and their families and learn about their pastoral way of life. Read more about them in the Community section. Hike, visit an N'dorobo cave, watch birds, photograph the sunset, dine under the stars, soar above the plains in a hot air balloon - you'll love the personally tailored experience Ol Seki offers in the hands of our attentive, observant guides.
This is bush life at its most glamourous - we will treat you to fine cuisine, a fully stocked bar and personal service that allows you to unwind while our staff take care of all the essentials. Afternoon tea, coffee and home-baked cake is delivered to your room. All your drinks and food are inclusive at Ol Seki.
Our camp is small and exclusive which means we can only host a maximum of 20 guests. We have eight stylish tents, each one expertly designed to offer secluded privacy and spacious accommodation in safari-chic muted tones of vanilla and taupe. Every tent sits on a private vantage point up on the rocky escarpment so you have a 270 degree view of the bush from your bed.
We have six domed Nina tents and two expansive suites - Simba and Chui. Hot running water blasting through rain shower-heads and dainty flush loos are a feature of every EnSite bathroom. These low-impact structures are camouflaged by the landscape and are fashioned for sustainability - they include ingenious features that promote conservation and minimize waste.
