Two restaurants offer local and international cuisine with fresh seafood direct from the Indian Ocean. The possible meal plans consist of Bed/Breakfast, half board or full board arrangements.
The Japanese restaurant is the only one of its kind on the coast. Gourmets will love the ',live', preparation of food while enjoying the cozy atmosphere.
The main restaurant is well known for its balanced buffets during all meal times. It caters for vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. A-la-Carte menus are also available.
There are a total of 55 rooms on the island:
Room Dcor: Chale Island Paradise is mostly furnished with African/Arabic antiques. The tented bungalows are makuti thatched and have their own little sunbathing beach. They are situated directly on the seafront and on the pool.
Room Amenities: It's roomy and elegant tented bungalows and apartments have a combined living and bedroom, a shower and toilet, and a separate terrace overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Special Feature: It is a nature reserve with a white, sandy beach, tropical rainforest, a wealth of animals, bird life and Sulphur springs
A Boutique and a wood carving center.
3 comfortable minibuses and a 28 Seater, Rosabus will ferry you by road from or to Diani, Mombasa town, the airport, Shimba hills etc. During low tide, a tractor with a huge canopy will take the place of our usual boat fleet to get you to the island in style. Children can be ferried by donkey-taxi.
