Mara River Lodge (formerly David Livingstone Safari Resort) is situated to the northeast of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in the Koiyaki Lemek Conservancy on a broad bend with hippo pools on the Mara River. The lodge is set in 40 acres of tropical gardens with indigenous plants and botanical gardens.

Mara River Lodge is located on the Mara River about 25 Kilometers northwest of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Southwest Kenya. Access from Nairobi on a 45 minute flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Mara River Lodge own airstrip by scheduled flight available twice a day or chartered air service or a scenic 5 hour drive from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley into the Savannah Plains. Access from Mombasa is a 2 hour flight from Mombasa daily at 8.30 am. Air packages from Mombasa are available on a daily basis
