Kenya is a country full of natural beauty, unspoilt originality and tradition. It impresses every visitor with its endless savannas, an absolutely unbelievable diversity of animals and great hospitality. Come with us to the country of the Maasai!
For the last 35 years Severin Sea Lodge has been renowned for its hospitality to its regular guests, who enjoy the excellent cuisine and the friendly and considerate service. The hotel was awarded by T?£V Rhineland in Germany, an internationally well-known certification company, for its first class service.
Severin Sea Lodge has 188 rooms divided into different categories: the comfortable Karibu Class rooms in traditional Arab style, the luxurious Comfort Class rooms and suites with custom carved Lamu furnishings.
There are two swimming pools set within the tropical grounds and with other sporting facilities including tennis courts and a superb 18 hole golf course nearby, you will easily find the activity of your choice to complete your holiday paradise. The animation team organizes the following activities; chess, archery, volley ball, tennis, table tennis, water aerobics and jogging. Nightly evening entertainment includes bands, discos, fashion shows, acrobatic shows and traditional African folk dancers.
Severin Sea Lodge has one of the best diving facilities in Mombasa. Qualified PADI diving experts are on hand to help you explore the wonders of the coral gardens directly opposite the hotel. For the novice a snorkeling boat is available to ensure you do not miss the experience of a life time on our natural coral reef. One of the few live-coral gardens remaining in the world. For the keen mariner windsurfing and catamarans are available, while the avid angler can go beyond to the deep blue sea for big game fishing. As the environment is our major concern we recommend only tag and release charter operators.
Special feature: Leading the way in environmental protection: Tourism nowadays stands accused by radical ecologists of destroying nature. There are indeed many examples for this. Severin Sea Lodge, however, recognizes that it would be hypocritical for a hotel to deny that tourism causes damage to the environment. We must instead seek solutions together so that tourists can continue to enjoy Kenya's attractions, whilst preventing the destruction of those very things they come to see.
