Day 1 - Nairobi to Masai Mara. Afternoon game drives in Masai Mara
Day 2 - Full day game drives in Masai Mara
Day 3 - Transfer from Masai Mara (No game drives) to Lake Naivasha
Day 4 - Boat ride to and Walking tour in Crescent Island and transfer to Nairobi
Your safari starts with pick up at 7:30 am from your Nairobi hotel or airport and drive to Masai Mara.
There are breathtaking panoramas in every direction, a vast range of wildlife including the Big Five and a rich cultural heritage to explore. Kenya’s Masai Mara is without doubt one of the greatest safari destinations in Africa.
At 17.00hrs you will be picked from your hotel by Maasai Morans (warriors) who will guide you through a walking safari in the dense Maasai Mara as you head later for a cultural tour to some of the old tribes that still exist.
You’ll return to lodge/camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
Today’s itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide on the previous evening and plan for today’s schedule.
You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around 9:00 AM with packed lunch and return back to lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Or you can depart at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive (This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness hunt/kill). Later return to accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit and depart on an afternoon game drive with packed lunch. you will stop at a picnic spot for having packed lunch and later depart on a game drive till the park is closed. Around 6:00 PM return to lodge/Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early morning breakfast, Have a 3-4hr game drive depart Masai Mara with a wildlife viewing drive en route to Lake Naivasha. Arrive in Naivasha Check-in to your camp/lodge in Naivasha for dinner and overnight stay.
Later have dinner and overnight stay at a lodge/Camp.
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat trip to Crescent Island that will take you around the highest lake in the Rift Valley with magnificent views of the lake and hundreds of birds species. Here you also see tens of hippo pools from your boat, the island is a place where you will be doing a nature walk next to zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes and so many more animals.
You will be transferred to your Nairobi location or to the airport for your home bound flight.
