On arrival into Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transferred to House of Waine. This is an 11-bedroom boutique hotel in Karen. Renowned for fine decor and quiet location, each bedroom has a television, minibar, coffee & tea making facilities and homemade pastries brought daily. Each has a marble bathroom with a shower, a bath and hairdryers. Within their gardens there is a heated swimming pool. It is close to the Giraffe Centre, Nairobi National Park, Daphne Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage and arts & crafts centres.

DAY 2 & 3. TORTILIS CAMP, Amboseli

You will be collected at 06h15 and transferred to Wilson Airport for the 08h15 scheduled flight to Amboseli. You will be collected from the airstrip and taken to Tortilis camp, where you will be greeted by the overpowering beauty of Africa’s largest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Tortilis Camp consists of 17 traditional en-suite tents with spacious verandahs. There is also a family suite made up of one double and one twin room and a shared sitting and dining area. Activities include game drives, bush meals, sundowners and cultural visits.

DAY 4, 5 & 6.   THE MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Cottars 1920’s – Saruni – Richard’s Camp – Elephant Pepper Camp

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight, departing at 09h05 to Wilson, where you will connect with the scheduled flight at 10h00 to the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara offers a true wildlife experience, one that is hard to duplicate anywhere else in the world. You can stay at any of the following: Cottars 1920’s, with its elegant style white tents and traditional luxury; Saruni’s intimate cottages with luxurious interiors and Italian fittings; Richard’s Camp is a traditional tented camp in true safari style with modern surprises or Elephant Pepper Camp, which brings you back to nature, no permanent structures, just the sights and sounds of the bush.

The activities available include game drives, breakfasts out on the savannah, sundowners and guided bush walks.

DAY 7, 8 & 9.  MANDA BAY, Lamu

After breakfast and an early morning game drive you will be transferred to the airstrip to meet the Safarilink flight to Wilson Airport, departing at 11h00, arriving at 12h15. You will connect with the 13h45 Safarilink flight to Lamu. On arrival in Lamu at 15h30, you will be greeted by a Manda Bay representative and transferred by boat to Manda Bay. The boat ride is approximately 20 minutes. Manda Island is an unspoiled island of the Lamu archipelago. Here your options include relaxation, water sports, and pampering. Manda Bay has 16 cottages located on miles of uninhabited beach, all in keeping with the local landscape, all with ceiling fans, en-suite bathrooms and verandah’s overlooking the ocean. The activities are endless and include water-skiing, windsurfing and deep sea fishing. For those that prefer a less energetic holiday, board Manda Bay’s private 60ft “Utamaduni” dhow and let the dhow’s sails unfold and sail you off to some of the best snorkeling in the area.  Manda Bay offers its guests the freshest catch straight from the sea; fresh crab, prawns, lobster and calamari.

DAY 10.  DEPARTURE

You will spend the morning relaxing, walking, soaking up the sun or getting one last water-ski, before you head to the airstrip to connect with the 16h00 Safarilink flight to Nairobi.
