In this itinerary you will be visiting Mara North Conservancy which is neighboring “Masai Mara”, for 4 nights and 5 days. Mara North Conservancy is popular for the sighting of the Big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo & Rhino) and other wildlife. And off-roading, walking tours, night game drives can be done in the conservancy which are not allowed in Masai Mara National Reserve. This is a fly-in package with scheduled or full day shared game drives in camp’s vehicle and the tour will start and end in Nairobi.

Day 1: Nairobi to Mara North Conservancy

Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your Nairobi Hotel at 7:30 AM and departure from Wilson Airport, Nairobi, at 10 AM flight bound for Mara North Conservancy. The flight takes approximately one hour, covering a distance of about 210 km. Upon arrival at 11 AM, you will be transferred to your chosen lodge or camp within the conservancy. After settling in and enjoying lunch, you’ll join a shared game drive in the afternoon. Mara North Conservancy is renowned for its rich wildlife, including the Big 5—lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos—as well as other fascinating species.

After the game drives, return to your accommodation for a freshly prepared dinner and a relaxing evening. Depending on your camp’s schedule, you may also have the opportunity to join a night game drive to witness the nocturnal activities of the bush.

Day 2, 3 & 4: Shared game drives at Mara North Conservancy

You day begins with an early morning shared game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness the conservancy’s wildlife at its most active. After the morning drive, return to your camp for breakfast and some leisure time. In the afternoon, head out for another shared game drive, exploring different areas of the conservancy. The varied landscapes of Mara North, from open savannahs to riverine forests, provide a diverse backdrop for wildlife viewing.

In the evening, enjoy a relaxed dinner back at your camp, followed by an optional night game drives, walking tours etc. depending upon your camp, to discover the nocturnal animals of the conservancy.

Day 5: Mara North Conservancy to Nairobi

On the final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before your transfer to the airstrip. Your Safarilink flight departs at 11:00 AM, arriving back at Wilson Airport in Nairobi at approximately 12:20 PM. This marks the end of your unforgettable safari in Mara North Conservancy, with memories of incredible wildlife encounters and the breathtaking landscapes of Kenya.
