Your journey begins with a pick-up in Nairobi, where our friendly guide will take you to Samburu National Reserve. Here, you’ll witness unique wildlife, including the rare “Samburu Special Five,” while enjoying exciting game drives in a comfortable 4×4 jeep. You’ll stay in cozy lodges/camps surrounded by nature, making your experience even more memorable.
Next, we will head to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the largest population of black rhinos and the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya. You’ll learn about important conservation efforts while seeing these amazing animals up close. Each day is filled with adventure, stunning landscapes, and incredible wildlife encounters. This safari is perfect for nature lovers and anyone looking to create unforgettable memories.
Day 1 - Nairobi to Samburu. Evening game drives in Samburu

Day 3 - Short morning game drives in Samburu and Transfer to Ol Pejeta for afternoon game drives in Ol Pejeta
Day 4 - Morning game drives in Ol Pejeta and transfer to Nairobi
Your tour starts with pick up at 7:00 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Samburu. This drive will take about 6 to 7 hours with diverse views ranging from the raw country side, the central highlands of Kenya, the equator line and views of Mt Kenya. Arrive in Samburu by lunch time and check into your lodge/camp, have a hot lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive. After the game drive, we head back to lodge/camp to reach by around 5:30 or 6:00 PM, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner. Overnight at your Camp.
Start the day with a thrilling early morning game drive through Samburu, watching as the savannah comes to life(This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness a hunt/kill). Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, and elephants, among other wildlife. Later around 10:00 AM, return to accommodation for a hearty breakfast and relax for a bit and after lunch, depart on an afternoon game drive around 3:00 PM till around 6:00 PM. Return to Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Wake up early in the morning and proceed for game drives around 6:15 AM. Continue with game drives till around 9:00 AM and then head back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, check out from camp and proceed to Ol Pejeta which is about 2 to 2.5 hours drive passing through scenic landscapes of central Kenya. Arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy shortly before noon and check into your camp, have hot lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive.
Ol Pejeta is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including the Big Five. You can focus on spotting elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes while enjoying the varied landscapes. After the game drive, we head back to Camp, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner. Overnight at your Camp.
On the final morning, embark on one last game drive to soak in the early morning till around 1:00pm and witness the wildlife starting their day. After breakfast, we depart Ol Pejeta and make our way back to Nairobi, where we will reach around 4:00 PM at your hotel or airport in Nairobi.
